Questions/ideas. Need info & opinions (Roof Spoiler, Spoiler, Rear Lip, Skirts)
I want to do some exterior mods to my SC, but not sure what to do or how it would look. So i'm hoping you guys can give me your opinions and point me in the right direction....Pics would be helpful also. Any info, opinions, comments are welcomed. Thanks in advance
I'll just list the parts with the questions i have to make it quick & simple
1) Roof Spoiler
Should I get a carbon fiber or a white fiberglass one? Does anyone know where to get a fiberglass version instead of eBay? Or are they all the same? Megan racing sells a carbon version, and fiberglass versions are $100 cheaper.
2) Vertex Spoiler
Would a roof spoiler & vertex spoiler be too much? Does anyone have any pics of this setup?
3) Autocouture Side Skirts
Do the autocouture side skirts drop lower than stock 97+ side skirts? My car is lowered with a front lip, but my sides look high. I can lower a little more, but too much & i'll scrape my lip off so thinking of trading the 97+ sides for autocouture ones (or something similar)
4) Rear Lip Blacked Out in Middle
Thinking of getting a rear lip, and painting (maybe cut out), the center part. I've seen it on other cars as a rear kit/lip, but don't know how it'll look on the SC with dual exhaust (I'll be running Fireball Megas). Does anyone have pics of this done on an SC? Here are pics of IS300's with the look im talking about...I'm wanting to do something similar to this

#4 is an awesome idea, i've been thinking of doing it my self. Except if you plan on cutting it use a 92-96 rear bumper because itll cover up the tire wheel.
After you trim the center off add a fd rear diffuser. Been on my to do list along with the autoconture sides for forever but im a broke college student building a boosted car lol

im not sure about the rear bumper but seibon and vis are the only people you should get carbon from, advan is ok too.
i wouldnt trust megan, plus its too expensive, the fiberglass is fine they range from $90-190.
ebay is always cheapest but there are some other suppliers that you can order from directly, visors are a good and inexpensive option, as for skirts i would stick with oem but i think there all the same size.
were you looking to get a trunklid spoiler?

I actually was looking today for the rear visor. I just don't know which direction to go. A part of me says get it with the new addition of the window ones, and the other half says just too much on the car.
