Default my new sc400

So I just got a 95 sc400 with 230000 on it for 1800. It has black int that's there but not in good shape. The rims have to go soon I hate them. Here are the pics from the listing I'll add more once I'm off. Let me know what you think.

check bushings, any leaks coming from the valve covers, head, oil pan, transmission pan etc. Just thoroughly go over the car, check motor mounts and transmission mounts, especially if you have a rough ride. Overall though the 1uz is an awesome motor,

My 93 LS400 had 196k, my SC400 had 156 and still going strong.

have it checked by a certified mechanic with a written estimate just in case anything happens, if the owner says everythings good have him write it down and sign it! protect yourself from a lemon

It rides nice. Doesn't leak anything. Fluids look good. Has at least same get up and go as my 95 sc300 with about 200000 on it. I'm going to put in the air this weekend and check front end. I have a set of 16s that I'll get tires for now that I have a nice one. Then get alignment. This is actually my 3rd sc. Oddly enough all 95s with over 200k. I just have 2 now cause I sold one to my cousin for a daily. He has 3 currently. We need to gather them in one place and take a pic haha.

Looks clean. Put some new wheels, detail it up and call it a day. Post some interior pics.

I know someone who has a nice set of 19's for sale that would look outstanding on there. LOL

I was going to say welcome to the SC family, but since this is your third one, I might still say welcome back... LOL

Nice pick up. Show us some love and post up more pictures of her, up close. Like the interior, engine bay, etc.

No amount of detailing is going to help the interior. Im glad its tented so it's not that obvious until the doors are open. The paint is save able, I think. I am not a fan of big rims on my rides. I have another set of 18 inch konigs that I don't want either. As soon as I have a chance I'm going to take more pics. This one is by far the best one and is taking over daily dutys from my 97 celica.

A few pics. A few issues-
The power steering is wining but has enough fluid. Only problem that's not common from what I kniw about sc's.

Antenna doesn't go up. (I dont care)
Trunk shocks blown.

Front struts blown but with those awful rims and wheels im not sure what other problems are in the front suspension.

As seen in pics 2 needels are out but all gauges work. (I dont care much)

Steering wheel only goes in and out I hear the motor trying to go up and down but wont move any. I care cause it blocks speedo under 40.

Bleeding climate control but it works so I dont care.

Everything thing else works properly just might not look the best.

The paint has many scratches on hood and trunk from a terrible buffing job. The roof has dents and deep scratches that have been touched up years ago.
The front bumper has a small crack.
Basically its a good daily but for me to much to make really nice with the roof damage.

not bad for the price! thoes wheels have got to go but I wouldn't get rid of them still a decent set of spares. I'd love to get a cheap running 400 so I can mess with the v8 guys.

the engine and interior needs some tlc. should clean up pretty nice. I suggest when you have the time get some soap/degreaser and start wiping everything down. getting nice and personal you can determine the condition of everything.

I hate the wheels as well but they hold air and have tread. With my laziness they r staying on this weekend. Lol
