Default spoiler stop light

My spoiler stoplight on my SC400 doesn't light up when brakes are applied. I had light tested and it worked on test bench without even a flicker for over a half hour. Any suggestions out there what might be the problem? Lobstaman

My sc300 had this same problem. Apparently its pretty common, its just a pinched wire caused by the opening and closing of the trunk. this happens mainly because the wire is too short. all you need to do is find where its pinched and just make the wire longer

I just checked mine. my wire wasn't pinched, it was totally cut off! I extended the wire and voila, works like a champ! I just wish the previous owner did this so he didn't chip up the trunk trying to get it out... It's all good though, it's working great now, no led's are out either. Thanks for this man!

Yeah the same thing happened to me and I ordered the LEDs from sewell and when they didn't work I was kind of lost. Glad to have helped you out though!
