Heated seat swap

Yeah but not worth it. You would have to peel all the leather off, better off buying ones that need reconditioning or buy a good used set with them already.

way more trouble than it's worth, but possible. you'd have to take both seats completely apart and hope everything goes back right esp the leather. better off just getting a heated seat off a parts/wrecked SC.

Heated seat swap
Thanks for the advice. I've got a line on a pair of front seats that are in pretty nice shape but they're not heated. If it was a fairly easy swap I might have tried it. Your descriptions convinced me however, this is something I definitely don't want to get involved with. Thanks.

I think the heater plugs are under the seat in carpet but heater coils arnt in the non-heated seats, everything would have to be swapped over from the heated seat. but the plugs for the switches should be by the shifter or up under the radio. if not could be pinned in.
this is all going off an image in my head as my SC has factory heated seats, i looked for a diagram eariler but couldnt really find one for the heated seat and dont really want to flip through the manual, if its even there. maybe i'll get bored and look more into it if someone doesnt beat me to it.

I could really use some help with this as well.
I just took possession of this 1999 SC300 with 18k on it. Yes 18 K!. Totally stock and locked away in a garage. It was minimally flood damaged in Sandy at the New Jersey Shore. The only damage was that the Seat rails had fused with corrosion. I have a pair of seats that I pulled from an SC400. We swapped out the parts and the passenger side works but we cant figure out the wiring differences on the Driver side I don't care about the Heat or the memory. I posted pic's. Does anyone here have this wisdom? Surely somebody has done this?

Here are the pics
One is the wiring we took the seat from, one is the wiring in my car and one is the connector from the seat we need to splice in place.
