so the needles are probably not to heavy but not sure why its still a problem. maybe the motor got screwed up, either during the build or during shipping back and forth. though i did package it in bubble wrap and plenty of news papers

Mine does it to, its 5 to 10mph off, the fix is to replace 1 or 2 things, the speed sensor or the needle motor
very easy to replace both but you have to be willing to do it on your own. or spend a lot of money and get someone to do it.

i can do it on my own but i dont think its the speed sensor, where the heck do i get a needle motor, i know how to replace it myself

The good news is that same motor was used in the ES300 and LS400 clusters so a trip to the junkyard should yield cheap a bolt-in solution!
