Now that's a steal deal. How much mileage is on it now?

I just bought my 92 SC400 with 59,800 miles and never in winter for $6000. The second owner had to replace almost everything made of rubber in the year he had it, well over $10k. The first owner also had to replace much of the gasketed stuff in his 20 year ownership.

Low milage is great, but rubber ages just being exposed to heat and air.

At least the body is almost mint and absolutely not a speck of rust.

It's nice to see people starting to pick up these low mileage SCs and giving them some love! I think it's awesome!

That is an amazing deal! What color is it?

I would love to have a red 92-94 SC in mint condition with low miles like that.

There are a few gems still out there from time to time. Even if it had like 1100 miles, it is not worth 33K. I have over invested 30K in mine by now, and it is worth maybe 5K to Geico insurance.

I just went through all of this. 92 Garnett red (first red car btw-tastefully subtle) with 65k and I've sunken helluh cash into it. Carbon build up in the motor meant pulling the head to clear and clean a stuck valve, radiator took a dump, old rotted lca bushings, brittle plug wires, blah blah. But the car was in magnificent shape otherwise. My mechanic could have charged me TWICE AS MUCH to do all the work. But these women got their hooks so deep into us......

I've got a '99 with 84k on it (bought it with ~65). I almost feel bad putting so many miles on it ..sometimes I feel I should sell it now while the mileage is still low.

I never under stood why people would spend more money on a lower mile sc because if im not mistaken, doesn't everyone want to put a GTE v160 in these things?

"That is an amazing deal! What color is it?"

It is the Pearl White, and the paint/body is almost flawless. Going thru the receipts the original owner had some bodywork done by Lexus around 2005, but the receipt is not there, just the warranty. I suspect it was repainting the original color as everything else looks original and the paint is just "TOO good" to be 21 years old.

I does run/drive just like a new car and other than 2 small stone dimples on the driver rear fender it appears mint. No leaks that I can find either.

Bought my 1992 SC300 with 61k miles, one owner, and the 5 speed for $9,000 back in 2011. Its pearl white/tan leather, not a mark on the seats, body is straight as an arrow, paint is 5 miles deep, always garage kept, no rust, new timing belt, all services done at the Lexus dealer.

The day I bought it:
