good question Ali, Im interested in that too... They sure are expensive! and I doubt that the parts are costing them that much. Also, are they better fitted for applying them to a car with several upgrades (exhaust, air-intake, torque converter, gears, cam...) or are they beneficial for any car.

i think the more upgrades you have the more you get out of the ecu. but what im thinking for 700-900 $$, i would rather spend it on something else for the sc, i think i can get more power for the money. but im not sure thats y im asking. the TC for the sc coasts arround the same as the ecu upgrade but i think the TC is a better upgrade than the ecu. i have a safc, intake, exhaust. and im sure i can get some power out of the ecu upgrade but is it actually worth it.

Ali,

My suggestion is that you do whatever other mods you want first. Then order the ECU tuned for those mods. Otherwise you may be defeating the purpose.

Who makes an ECU tuned to your specific mods? Is that the weapon R or does someone else make one?

LexusPros makes one that is tuned to your specs.

PM me or email me tony@lexuspros.com for more details.

How can you "tune" an ECU for mods you haven't seen, on a car you haven't seen? "Approximately" would be my guess?

Default ECU upgrade

Yeah, Im interested in the Lexuspros ecu rebuild also... it is a little too expensive, I'm gonna try to negotiate a slightly lower price from them if possible. The torque converter is the competing choice here, but the install Iv'e been quoted is about 4 days so it would be way over the 300 im willing to spend to have it put in... overall, I'd rather have my car generate more power all the way through the gears... the TC is only good for 0-60 I hear, barely even that much, but the ecu makes your car faster well beyond 100.
