What wiring harness for stereo in sc300/400?
I'm installing all new audio equipment in my sc300, and was wondering what type of wiring harness will work that allows everything to be utilized like OEM (antenna and what not). I am replacing the amps with a 5-channel, all new speakers/sub, and the HU. I am not using new speaker wires though, just splicing into the existing ones in the trunk.
With that said, what wiring harness will work? The model number please.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

go to metraonline.com (sorry if i'm not suppose to put links on here)
select your car with the drop down menus and it will give you what dash kit you'll need and what wiring harness. Shouldn't need an antenna adaptor for this car, but you will only use one of the antenna plugs out of the 2 the connect to the factory radio.

The wiring harness you will get from Metra will provide power, remote, and ground. If you are using amp/s for the all the speakers, these will not be used, since you are using the preouts via RCA from your new headunit. If I understood you correctly. I hope this helps you out.

To get the antenna to work, I believe it will be the pink/blue and green wire. Check out the audio section in this website, under Raine. He gives a detailed pictures of the wires and how he installed everything.

I seriously mean no disrespect by saying this, but if you can't figure out what harness you need and why you still need the harness from metra, please do not install this yourself. I've had to re-do so many poorly installed amps and radios, it's easier to have it done the right way to begin with.

I'm pretty sure its 70-1761. I have the 70-8112 in my other SC, but that's running factory amp and speakers, and the RCA connections it comes with plug right into the aftermarket head unit. I want to work on my audio install so bad but the news claims 10+ minutes in this weather could cause frostbite....wish I had a garage.
