Default i should not even have to ask

I bought a 92 sc300 on monday and drove it home, about an hour ride, and loved it... just had to bring it in for some front struts so i have not seen the car since yesterday and am having withdrawals..some things lingering in my mind, is there a glove box and where is it...i do not remember seeing one and how do i set the memory on the drivers seat.

Thank You for any help and i hope to follow in some of your footsteps regarding enhancing performance of this beautiful car.

the memory is only for the driver's seat, you have two memory settings in case you share the car with somebody else, .. all you do is adjust the chair until you find the position you like, including the steering wheel and outside mirrors <mine is a 95 so I dunno if is the same as the 92, need someone to recheck this > then push and hold SET, and press either 1 or 2, whichever you want and wait until is beeps.. now everytime you press the number you picked, it should go to the position you selected

check the picture, to open it, you gotta push the button that is right next to the airvents, (arrow) make sure it's not locked, otherwise you wont be able to open it...
ps, note the car in the pic is a 99 so you might not recognize the shifter and passenger airbag, have fun and congrats on your purchase!!

for the memory seating to make it work the shifter has to be in park. Setting it is the same in a 92 as in 95, hold set, then push 1 or 2 until it beeps. It moves the wheel, mirrors, and the seat.

I have a 5 speed so i have to have the parking brake up and the gears in neutral to make the memory seating work. Hope everything goes well. good luck with the car!

Kevin

The memory does the mirrors, the seat, and the steering column, provided everything is power. Doesn't do the inside rearview mirror.

For automatics, to set it, your brake pedal has to be depressed, and shifter in Park or Neutral.
