Default Who owns both *ZZ3* and JZA80 chassis?

Who here owns both a JZA80 Supra and SC/Soarer? How do the two compare in terms of handling / sharpness, etc?

EDIT: Prefer first hand experience

None of the mentioned threads actually get into the technical differences!

The JZA80 rear subframe uses different arm lengths (shorter) to give more dynamic camber change compared to the UZZ31.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...-thread-4.html

This should give more rear grip under hard driving vs the soarer/SC that would have more grip under relaxed driving - in short Toyota/Lexus tuned the suspension of the car to suit the market it was targeted at.

I am actually swapping a JZA80 rear subframe into my Soarer....

I have not compared the JZA80 front subframe to the SC/Soarer but the front lower control arms are identical besides the SC/Soarer bushes are voided to be softer / compliant.

Typical soarer/SC bush

As a counterpoint, for drag purposes the lack of camber change can make for more consistent launches. Wouldn't have to dial in as much positive camber.

Which arms are actually shorter on Supras? The traction arm appears identical. So just the upper and lower arms themselves??
