That's a beauty. I remember that thing on autotrader and then being listed on the bay. Great pickup and you are doing the work it deserves. I really like the IS wheels.

Yeah she does ride a tad higher now, but I think it's an awesome winter setup. New wheels and coil overs are coming as soon as the snow melts. Ls400 bbk is in the mail right now as well.

Hey guys, been a while since I last posted an update on the car. I've been up to quite a bit with the car recently trying to get it ready for the spring and summer season. Please excuse the lack of a front end in these photos as I am waiting to pick the bumper up from paint as well as add a little custom touch to it I replaced both front wheel hubs and bearings with brand new ones, installed whiteline steering rack bushings, brand new Dunlop Direzza tires around the car, finished rebuilding and installed my LS400 BBK as well as PowerStop drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic brake pads on all four corners, HIC roof wing, and I vinyl wrapped the interior wood grain pieces using 3M Brushed Steel. I am also working on custom headlights and fog lights, and I replaced the high beams with the black eBay clear lens projector style ones. I have a lot more planned for the car in the future and will update as I go.. this is just the first major stage of upgrades.

Definitely sticking with the 2jz and most likely will remain stock motor wise during my ownership :/ but maybe a turbo down the road if resources permit. These later models really aren't the ones to mod for high HP.

Hey from another Minnesota SC owner, very nice SC, black is very pretty for the 5 minutes it's clean, I've owned 5 black vehicles and they are like a high maintenance babe. I liked using Zaino for the wet look. Beautiful car, but why oh why would you drive it on these salt laden streets in the winter? My SC is still in the garage since last November.

Yes black sure doesn't stay clean for long.. And she's not perfect, has a touch of rust in the drivers rear wheel well that needs repair this summer. I plan on buying myself a winter beater for this coming winter and garaging the SC. She did not preform the greatest in the snow, even with snow tires and sandbags in the trunk.

Just picked up the bumper from the body shop. Looks amazing, I'll just leave this little teaser here... Something(s) appear to be missing
