95 with 99 tail light problem
Well i just switched to 99 style tail lights. everything plugged in and worked perfect. no hyper flashing. but i do get an idiot light on the dash for having a brake light out. how to i rid myself of that? i have looked for diy links i cant find them. I am pry just not looking in the right spot

I know this will be a dumb question, but have you checked to make sure than none of your brake lights are out?
the taillights should only change how fast or slow they blink. I think 92 and 93s you will have the hyper blinking problem. But I haven't read anywhere about a brake light on the dash.

This has been covered many times search for 95 tails 97 tails and brake light and hyperblink.
95 with 97 tails has no hyperblink (has same number of flasher bulbs on both tails unlike 92 tails).
you will have the brake light bulb the tail lights have a different number of brake light bulbs.
options:
add extra bulbs to the circuit and wire them somewhere in the trunk (not recommended).
using higher resistance bulbs or something so 1 bulb is like 2 bulbs (probably not a good idea, extra heat bad for tails)
change the warning unit in the trunk to a 97 unit (maybe this works?)
remove the brake light out bulb on the cluster and check your tails yourself (what I did a long time ago).
there was also a thread recently on fixing hyperblink for those that has 92 tails originally and it may have also solved the brake light bulb situation, but not sure if that works for 95-96.

Ill just pull the bulb one of these days. i gotta pull the airbag one as well. The airbag light tripped cuz of a bad bulb. now i cant get it to shut off. also have to put a couple new back lights in.

There is another link further in the thread on how to use a diode to solve all three problems. The light on dash is on or when brake is applied, the fast blink, and not using other bulbs to fix the problem.

Holy crap. So much over the top answers.
Facts:
· 97-00 tails are watered down 95-96 tails (97-00 have one less bulb than the 95-00).
· 95-96 is the easiest to turn into a "Fake 97+" that you all love to do.
Question: Did you get the 97-00 Lamp failure unit? If not, that's all you really need...

BTW, you misspelled the word "Espilar" in your signature. It is spelled, "Espelir".

The problem with removing bulbs in the cluster is inspection time. I was rejected last year because they noticed I didn't have an illuminated bulb for the brake & airbag. Is this a bit strict? Yes, it certainly is. But keep this under consideration before removing the bulbs. I had to pay someone a little extra to pass me last year which obviously isn't recommended. I had a few other things going on including a burnt out foglight and the car was "too low". However, I remember them specifically pointing out that they wouldn't pass me because of the cluster lights.
