Is this a realistic price?

Thanks for posting the pics now that ive seen them i would sell for maybe 3800 obo and be negotiable about it. So your looking around 3200-3600 i would not let it go below that. It looks to be in good condition on top of that you have maintenance service records which is always a plus since the majority of people dont.
Do not give in to the low ballers saying its worth under 2 grand.

"Most people don't know Toyota owns Lexus and hardly anybody knows Subaru owns Toyota."
Pretty much everyone here knows that Toyota owns Lexus. Subaru actually is owned by Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) and Toyota owns a portion (16.5%) of FHI, so actually Toyota owns part of Subaru, not the other way around. At one time both Nissan and GM held part of FHI and Toyota did take over some of Subaru's production facilities in the US for their use.
As for the original post I think that the car is somewhat overpriced because of the mileage, but is probably worth more than the $2k some have thrown out. I would look in the $3k range, provided there are no leaks or clunks when driving.
The seats can be re-dyed for under $100 to match the correct color. I would do that for sure.

check control arms for replacement/junk yard tags. check inside trunk rear quarters for non oem welding. Factor in overall condition. Then lowball. Then drive it.
Pacmonkey it sounds like a nice SC you should keep it.

I think this is WAY over priced.
Yes its a nice car don't get me wrong.. But I picked up my 92' SC400 with no bleeding head unit, and only one burnt out needle. All 90k maintance was performed at 60k, (timing belt, water pump, etc).
This car had 95k when I bought it, and only cost me right under 6k.
It's up to you, but this was just my insight.

I bought it
Update: I bought this car for myself as a fun fix-up project at a substantial discount to the asking price.
Now I need to figure out what I want to do with it. I have a budget of $1,500 to spend and I have several options that I need your feedback on.
First, as a baseline, I need to fix the cluster and climate control screen. Other than that, my project can go in several directions.
1. Restore it to stock: New seat covers F&R plus new interior window trim. I'd also remove the gold pinstripe and the aftermarket chrome fender trim.
2. Continue with tasteless mods: New seat covers, plus add a wood trim kit to the interior, maybe suede wrap the A-pillars and interior window trim pieces.
3. Resto-Mod: Skip the seats, and instead get 18" staggered BBS LM Rep wheels with new tires, remove the pinstripe and chrome fender trim, tint the windows, do the 3M Di-Noc carbon fiber mod to the wood trim, get a catback exhaust and if there is any money left, get Tanabe lowering springs.
Let me know which option you think I should go with!. Thanks!

At 216k, $4200 seems a bit steep. I "MIGHT" give that if it was one of those cars that has a full service history(ie a folder full of reciepts) and was the original owner. Even then it would be have to be clean as hell. I'm thinking $4200 is fair if all the intstruments worked, nice interior, a/c works, good paint, no rust, fully serviced. For what it needs, $2500 to 3500 is more in the range I'd bid, once again just depending.

with an sc in mint condition with over 200k miles i would value it at atleast 3-4k. i way overpaid for mine when i bought it. i paid 7500 back in 08 for my 92 that had 160k on it but i was young and dumb.... had no idea what a lexus even was when i bought it
