Default O/D on and off every 2seconds

i drove my sc4 today, its been parked for about a month. a put gas, washed it, got some stuff and on the way home i noticed that the O/D light on the dash keeps flashing on and off every 2 seconds. the light will turn on the go away, then i turned it off and the it was normal everything working the light on the dash was on did not flash or anything. then i turn it off and the same thing again. anyone know whats going on.

the tranny is ok, the car drives A+, it just that the light keeps blinking on and off....??? did a search and no luck, can anyone help

Ali...the tranny may be shifting ok now, but usually the o/d light flashing indicates a problem of some sort with the tranny. It could be something as simple as a sensor, but your best bet is get the computer scanned and see what has coded.

ok, i called the dealer and they have never seen anything like it, but its gone now..i drove it today and it was fine..but im going to have the dealer check it out and make sure nothing is wrong. thanx for the help
