You're correct, a well maintained V8 indeed. New plugs and wires every ~10k miles, Royal Purple oil every 4k, and I try to keep it as clean as possible. In the last year she's gotten new coils, new cap/rotor, new plugs, new wires, SeaFoam, new MAF, new TPS, new ECU, etc... This weekend I'll be doing valve cover gaskets as I've developed a leak on both sides.

She's slowly turning from a 'perfect' car to an 'old' car, but just a bit of attention fixes that easily.

It's been suggested that I may have a leak somewhere in the EGR system. Anyone have an idea if this is a viable thought?

I've been debating it. The only thing I'm reluctant about is the loss in fuel mileage. This car is my daily. I have a vintage 911 to waste gas with.

On my gs i only heard it sometimes when slowing down. Literally sounds like water pouring into a cup of marbles. Never found out what or why and everything worked as it should. Sounded like it was coming from the passenger front area.
