OK. Folks. I'll try to see if I can get access to a flatbed scanner. Might take a few days. Also need to remember where I put the brochure too. It's hell getting old!
It's been several years since I had the SC400, but i still remember how much I loved the car, and how exciting it was to own such a new and unusual vehicle.
I've been through a few other cars since then, including an SC430 and a Porsche 911S, and only recently have I experienced the same level of excitement about a new car. I've had a Tesla for about five months and am loving it. It only took 23 years to match the SC400 excitement level!

^^ That's really cool, steve! May I ask which Model S variant you went for? They're brilliant cars. I can see why you'd compare the uniqueness to the much older SC400's original impact.
And since you mentioned it, how did your SC430 feel to you compared to your SC400? The 911S I don't need to ask about-- I have a soft spot for 996's and 997's
I also vote for the scan and upload but the original brochure shouldn't be kept at the very least.

I loved my SC430 because, as was the 400, it was a unique car when I got it (I got one of the first ones in Tampa). The hard top convertible always drew attention, and the interior was gorgeous.
I got the Porsche because my SC430 was getting old and having problems. I still wished Lexus had done an SC redesign, but it was not to come.
I did a pretty lengthy post on this forum comparing the 430 to the 911 shortly after I got it. It's been so long since I've been on this forum, I've forgotten how to find it, or I would post a link for you here.
I have held all of my Lexus vehicles at least ten years. I kept the Porsche less than 4 years. Why? I made the mistake of test driving a Tesla.
From a later post, looks like the brochure already has been scanned and posted somewhere. Saves me some work! The original purpose of this post was to see oif the brochure had any significant $$ value to collectors. Sounds like it doesn't!

If you happen to make a thread anywhere comparing the 911S to your Model S please post the link here. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
