Default climate control stopped working

i pulled my motor and fixed it up and dropped it back in, went to go burp the coolant system and my climate control isnt working so i cant turn on the heater. the climate control isnt getting any power at all. checked all the fuses and theyre fine. is there a connector somewhere other than in the car that sends power to climate control? im a little dumbfounded right now

Is your cluster out of the car or the plastic piece below the cluster unplugged?

If so, plug these back in and recheck it.

i dont have a spare climate control so i cant verify if its my actual unit that crapped out on me, but i dont think its the actual climate control. it was working just fine before i pulled it. i checked the fuses and theyre fine. so where else should i look?

have you probed the connectors behind the unit to ensure voltage? that'll tell you if you're getting power up to the unit.

check the thread for the service manual and look at page 70 of the PDF. there's a link to snag it temporarily in that thread. has the pinout for the AC control connector as well as diagnostics for the AC system.

I know it might be a dumb suggestion, but are you sure a coin didn't fall into the cigarette lighter? It happens all of the time and pops the 15 a fuse, but you said you checked the fuses so I guess thats good.

heres the link for the schematic.

the wire i test was indeed the power wire and the connector is getting power. no a coin didnt fall in the the cigarette lighter. and the fuse is good too. which leads me to this: 1) either the unit just out of nowhere broke or b) its not being grounded properly?

Maybe check the pins on the connector, make sure they're not bent or backed out. Then test the grounds for continuity. If that all checks out prob the unit.

Yeah look at the next page, A14-15 Acc PS should have 10-14V at key in ACC. That's your issue.
