SC from the future!!!
today i saw the new IS Fsport and freakin loved it. so i thought what would an SC with that grill look like? so i put together this frankenstein lol. i think if i put more time into it, it would come out much better, but you get the idea right? what do you think?

All the lines on the sc are really round compared to all the new lexus models. I like what you guys are trying to do but a new one would be so different like rc-f and lf-lc styling

The back end of the third pic looks sick. Someone should actually make that for our cars. The styling of the new lexus is not as sleek as the sc. The lines are more hard, so the styling would be completely different

At first I thought the "LFA inspired" front end was kind of cool but now that Lexus is trying to put it on all of their cars it has lost some appeal for me. My wife likes the LS with the new front end but I am not as enthused.
The upcoming RC (also with the new front end) may have some promise as the true next replacement for the 1st Gen SC (never did like the 430 design) and if they ever do offer a manual transmission (doubtful) and does not cost $100K it is the closet they have come to a real coupe in a long time (sorry, the ISxxxC does not "count" for me).

But this forum has been a great inspiration for change.
The many varieties and modifications like front ends, side skits, lowering the suspension, engine and transmission upgrades, wheel choices, etc. has been a lot of fun. I was showing my neighbor the progress made so far on my car and he kept repeating over and over how great the car looked with all of the changes. All the wonderful pictures on the forum provided a lot of choices to sift through.
Are the stock SCs good lucking cars? You bet. The people that have maintained the original look and those that restored worn down vehicles to OEM status are to be commended. Others that were able to modify and make advancements on this platform are owed a lot by the many current owners that decided to make changes.
Keep the debate going .....
