Default Climate Control Issue

Well since all my button lights have failed again. (Thank you Lextech) I bought 3 quality led replacement bulbs from Super bright. Pulled the climate control and opened the unit. Instead of just replacing the 3 bulbs our friend from Lextech had soldered in 3 bulbs and it looks like they are "inline" with some sort of resistors tied in. I'm no solderer but damn the whole thing looks like a rats nest. About as sorry workman ship as I've seen. Wasn't in the mood to dig in and redo it so I put it back together and do it this summer. Question. Shouldn't I just be able to pull this mess out and screw in the correct blubs?

you should just be able to unsolder the things and put regular bulbs back in. he probably soldered them to the same terminals that the bulbs use, just make sure you get all the solder out so it doesn't short or something.

Exactly. How long did the Lextech bulbs last?
