Fuel Pump ECU Mod Question
Just have a question in regards to fuel pump ecu mod. I have seen the FAQ on this but the pictures are not all there so my question is...cut the thickest wires and solder them together. Just want to make sure i'm soldering the right ones together. So do I solder top or bottom circle in the pic?

If you refer to Post #2 in the blow linked thread - it does say:
Clip the Green and Black/Red wires
Strip the 2 wires
Solder the 2 wires together
**you are right though it doesn't specify which ones to solder.. **

post #206 however shows a picture (page 14)

I have been experiencing a issue with hesitation around 40mph ever since I bought the car. But recently it just stalls out of no where and I couldn't get it to start up immediately or if it did start it would die soon after. Each time it stalled was at different speeds (highway, about to come to complete stop). I drove the car to work today after completing this "mod" and no issues or hesitation that I could tell. Fingers crossed!

hesitation could be:
spark plugs/coils, ignitor, fuel supply related, vacuum leak(s), wiring that's disconnected or sensors gone bad.
there is a diagnostic port under the hood, and by the kick panel drivers side.. Use it to determine the computer's idea of what is wrong.. it may help lead you to the proper cause.
TE1 and EI pins - jumper them and read the Engine Light Diagnostic Codes.
