Used Lexus Parts on the net?
#1
Can somebody please post the internet site for used Lexus parts?
Have you had any dealing with them?
Are they reliable?
My left front brake caliper is broken. Do you have any recommendation. Should I replace it with used OEM parts of after market parts? Does anyone know the price for a brake caliper? What is an OK price for a used one?
Thanks

Here is a good source. I haven't bought from them but they are well organized.

I've emailed them about prices on some parts for my SC. They seem very professional and i don't know if it was a mistake or not, but their prices on some items were higher than the dealers. I would still reccomend emailing them just to be sure.

tap recycling
Just an FYI:
they aren't very reliable, I haven't bought anything from them.
But there were lots of complaints about them on the dsm mailing list (my old car was a Talon TSI AWD).
(if you wanna see the posts for yourself, check out www.dsm.org and search for "tap" in the archives)
They routinely sent out parts that were bad, or the wrong part. and then they would tell the customer "tough *****, your stuck with it now" and they are kinda pricey, considering they are selling used stuff; check out other salvage places (most can get parts from other yards if they don't have it available).
Hope that helps someone

I've used billy's toyota and lexus parts (billystoyotaparts.com i think that's the right web address...) but, they always seem to be in a hurry( as if i'm not!!!). the owner never takes the time to answer all of your questions concerning the exact quality of parts... ( i'm tired of hearing "it's as good as new"...everyones says that...)
i did however purchased a belt tensioner for 50$ vs. $205.86 at the dealer. it was shipped out and recieved in a couple of days... the part was clean and it did work fine...
i'm still not happy with the rushed way he handles business. he did apologized, but everyone does to get the $$$. i usually will not give a business a referral after a service issue; however there is a limited supply of used lexus parts out there especially for the SC's and GS's. he's located in southern Alabama... and i was in Jackson, MS at the time... good luck...
