Post Need little help with buying a sc300

Hey guys, kinda new with the whole sc300 right now and my son really wants one so im planning to buy one for his birthday as a gift

The price of the car is 16k in DHS, its a normal price of that car in my country.

So one of my friends has one and i may buy it but still need to get it checked properly first, i have taken a look at the car and engine, tire's and all that stuff

Is a 1998 model. imported from US the engine at that time was 600k but it was changed and he doesn't remember the number right now cause he never used it that much as he got other cars

He has changed the engine along with the gear box (its an auto),brake pads, tire's and front bummer also

There is little rust showing on the engine pipes but not that much, and on the brake caliper but caliper shouldn't cost that much,

I would like to know other main things that i show check properly before i take it to the mechanic as i dont want to waste time and some money on something which im not gonna buy anyways.

Well if it was from the U.S. then that means in must've been in MPH, so therefore 600K is a little too many miles. Lets hope the car doesn't have that many miles though. Those cars are great specially a '98 with the VVTi engine.
