Default oil light?

after changing my battery, i noticed that the engine oil light comes on and off frequently (never did before i changed the battery). There is plenty of oil in the engine and it's got me concerned when it comes on but then it just goes away like a minute later or so. Any input would be appreciated.

Default help with oil light

After replacing my battery, the oil light next to the trac light comes on now and then. I wanna know why because it makes me concerned if it sez there is low oil when last i checked there was plenty. My dad said just ignore and drive normally, but it's stuck on my mind as to why it would do that in the first place.
any input is appreciated.
thanx

You can perform a search on this subject and get some more information on it, but the short answer is that on some of our cars (like mine), they sometimes tend to flicker for no good reason.

It happens to me about twice a year, but in my case it is not related to changing the battery.

Anyway....you might want to try resetting the computer (disconnect battery again for 20 secs) or just ignore it
