Wrecked my SC300, thoughts?
Had the car for a month and had the brakes mess up on me, just asking what you guys think i should do with it i payed 3k for the car but i think the repairs themselves will be just as much to get it where it was at. Just wan some opinions, it is a 2jz non turbo.
i can post before pics if wanted but im pretty sad about crashing this one so quickly.

Sorry to hear about your wreck, at least you are OK. The car looks like it has frame damage, the Ins. co will surly write it off. As mentioned above you are better parting it out and try to recover as much as possible, then get another car. Good luck.

If insurance writes it off as totaled, you may not have much choice in the matter. Some people get lucky and get to keep their car for next to nothing (depends mostly on inventory), while mine they wanted 20-30% of value for. That made it pointless to keep for parting out or repairing.

Im really tempted to throw what i can at it to get it back, it still runs and the fan shroud is inches away from the belts, from just what i can see it will be a new hood, windshield, headlights, bumpers, wheel well radiator, radiator mount which i seriously do not mind what i do mind however is having to take it to a frame machine and i dont have the heart to scrap this baby

Get what you can from the insurance and if possible part it out if that is something you can do.
Use the funds to get another SC that has been researched thoroughly.
You will need some deep pockets for the parts and a lot of time if you plan to do all this your self.
It is likely you will find a "gem" that has not been in a crash and you will have more fun doing mods rather than repairs....
