Just missed this '99 SC400
As I mentioned in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...-my-sc300.html I have a lot of work ahead of me in getting my SC into better shape.
Today out of curiosity I hopped on Autotrader and searched for SC400's since what I really want is a V8 (after all, I did buy this car for an LS swap). I came across this SC at a local dealer:
http://hendrick-pleasanton.ebizautos...x?iid=12162564
I figured instead of me spending quite a few grand improving my current SC (which needs some paint and body work as well) I would just swap my wheels and AVIC to that SC which is a MUCH cleaner vehicle with less miles, the 1UZ, a nice color, and a 99. I wasn't prepared to give them $12k but I figured I would at least see what I could get for it. Long story short I get there and I'm told it has already been sold! Ffuuuuuuu.
There aren't any other "clean" SC's in my area, except one with 7XK miles asking 14,995 (no thanks) and a RSP in SoCal along with a burgundy one (forget the name), but they have more miles than I'd like especially given their asking price. I'll take this is a omen to just keep my current SC3 and finish putting together my F&R brake kits, coilovers, HID retrofit...etc etc.

Looks really clean. Just like my old SC Its really too bad you missed out on it, although not comparable to an LS1 or modded GTE, the vvt-i 400's were by far the best stock SC's made IMO.
