Default My not so stock SC400

Hey guys my dad and I have been tinkering with this lexus for over 6 years, thought I'd share some pics. It came to me automatic, looked like the previous owner used steel wool to wash it, thrashed interior and barley able to do a single wheel burnout.....

Outside the car the only mods done are Siebon carbon fiber hood, and some ADR wheels with Falken tires and paint 5 years ago.

Kept the interior mostly stock as well, My dad reskinned the seats and door panels, Altezza steering wheel, TRD shift ****, Sc300 clutch pedal + shift boot

Engine, Driveline and Chassis mods
- imported low km 1UZ to work with and freshened her up.
- S&S Shorty headers with stock exhaust no cats,
-R154 5 speed from 1990 supra turbo with a Dellow bell housing and custom extended shifter housing made by my dad
-one piece aluminum driveshaft from RHDjapan.com
-ACT HD clutch and lighten flywheel
-M112 supercharger 9psi with homemade adapter made by my dad
-Mega-squirted, bigger injectors and walbro 255 pump again by my dad
-supra 6 speed LSD rear end (bolted in with stock sc400 axle shafts zero problems)
-methanol injection
-removed all suspension components and rear subframe and POR15 black, removed all factory rubber bushings and inserted poly-urethane bushings. Surprisingly very little road noise, improved chassis feel and tightness. PITA removing factory bushings thou..
-megan racing radiator
-Eibach lowering springs
-braided brake lines + slotted rotors

Heres a quick vid of my car

That's a fantastic, clean and well modified SC400! I'd only suggest upgrading your front brakes since it's supercharged but every other aspect of this car looks (and reads in the specs) perfectly. That's a serious "wow". Subtle but completely gone through. Welcome to CL!

Very nice. did you ever think about removing the a.b.s., to further clean the engine bay?

What an intro to the forums. Many of us seek advice and guidance from the start, but you sir have done just the opposite. Any dyno results?
Great job on the build man.

Thanks for the comments and reply guys

KahnBB6-- Im keeping my eyes out for some Supra TT front calipers, definitely on my list.

bigwhite-- I have but my old man wants me to keep it in The guy supercharges my car least
I can do

Sylexus--- the m112 is very nice, boosts pretty quick. We went with the 112 over the 90 because it has a bypass valve so you only boost when you boot it, it DDs like a stock lexus until you hammer down and the m112 boosts and the supra lsd locks and she isn't very lexus like anymore

I'll hook the go pro up for a rolling vid after the weekend as the new 2.5" exhaust is going in
