Door Chime Won't Shut Off

Door Chime Won't Shut Off
Just got my 97 Sc300 N/A... and I noticed the dome light was out along with the personal lights, and anti-theft deterrent system. I checked my fuse box and saw Fuse 22 was completely missing. I went and bought the correct 10 Amp Fuse (ATC) to match the original, installed it, and everything was working again (I love cheap fixes).
However, I got home and went to shut my car door and when I did the door chime kept going off even when locked. So I tested to make sure I wasn't just being an idiot and it just kept chiming even when the theft deterrent system was set and all doors locked, hood, trunk, etc. I then went and replaced Fuse 21 for "DOOR" (Type A 30 Amp fuse) and it made no difference. I checked the other fuses and everything is operable and not blown or anything.
So the previous owner just took the fuse out when the short became apparent and said F*** it. Cheap Bastard.
I have never worked on cars before, as much as I would love to quit my job and do so I can't, so damn tempting sometimes. I never go beyond my knowledge and experience because that's when I become a dangerous *******. lol.
Any Ideas on whether this is a wiring problem or has anyone had this similar issue?
Thanks!

When the key is in the ignition, does the gauge panel show the "door open" indicator? It could be something with the door latch setup not detecting the door being closed. If it's an electrical issue, I wouldn't know where to begin looking. At that point, it might be best to go to a car stereo shop and let them diagnose the connections within and to the door. They're good at that sort of thing.

Yes it does show the door open indicator, and won't go away until the car is turned on or the key is turned just past the ACC. function.
Thanks for the tip that's a great idea didn't think about a car stereo place... will definitely give it a shot.
Thank You =)
