When I bought my 96 SC400 KBB listed bottom price @ 5200.00 high end @ 7200.00 dealer was asking 4000.00 for it. Everything worked A little rust 1 dent Driver seat was worn (1 owner). Fed all this info into price check for my area. Interior was clean. I watched it for 2 months, test drove it couple times, discovered I was only one looking @ it. V8 RWD scares people away. Came by one day price was 2995.00 & pulled in & bought right then. No regrets since, just some sticker shock on prices of some parts for car. If your not mechanically inclined suggest you look for a better one. This was all just last year in the spring. And a dealer who details his cars.

Im fairly mechanically inclined. I had brought a new battery, and it is definitely the battery that needs to be replaced, not the alternator. The clunk I think is a control arm, which i think i can do or at leaast know someone who can for very cheap. The pads and rotors i can definitely do, and there aren't any leaks. The water has since dried up and i after I unplugged the drain holes on the bottom, water came pouring out. He made the final offer of $2100 inspected and theres really no rush for me to decide.

I would say pass on this one too. As some other members mentioned it is fairly obvious when you are looking at a car that has been well maintained and this definitely doesn't look like one of them. Take your time and find one in better condition. You will spend a ton of money and time just getting regular maintenance items current on this one. Even a vehicle with higher mileage would not concern me as long as it has been well maintained and clean.
