Hi, I just bought a '92 SC300 5spd 80k miles for $8.5k. Right now everything is stock on the car, but I can't wait to start tricking it out. First thing I'm getting are Greddy MX Catback Exhaust. I want to eventually go the whole nine yards and make my SC a TT - but that's when I get enough money
I love my car! It so gorgeous...I'll post some before pics below

Welcome to the club. Thats a great find you got there, nice price, tranny, and body condition. Im sure youve got some fun in your future. Interesting wheel upgrade for an otherwise stock car (much better look than the originals)....did you get it from a dealer or just some little old lady down the street (and how on earth with those low miles???thats only 7k a year!!)? Anyways, congrats '92 brother and enjoy it allllll.

Nice ride...
Did you talk the car down to 8.5 or was that the asking price ? on my 92 (auto) The guy was asking 11k and I got him down to 7.5k hehe... And it only had 80k miles.. I am looking to do alot to my baby also but money needed for a house first
To : undefeatedsc3... lol I was thinking the same thing about the rims, they are STOCK but not for that year, If I am correct they are 95+ Just something that stuck out when I looked at the car ..... I looked at SOOO many SC300/400s in a 3 month period that alot of ODD (not normal) stuff sticks out like a sore thumb....
Question : Is a 5spd THAT much faster then a Auto ? I mean if you had a 300 5spd vs a auto I am sure the manual would get off the line first but does that mean the manual has it all the way to the end or can the auto catch up.... I mean just the way people make it sound on the boards that 5spds are soo much better then a auto for some reason and I just don't think I understand why....

Btw, I bought my SC off this lady who hardly drove it and paid blue book value for it - which I think was a fair price. I feel so lucky to have found a 5spd, they're so rare...
And I'll be getting new rims in the near future...Anyone want '95+ stock rims?
