I put it in and had to use the bathroom so I told my mom to turn it on to 200. But instead of baking she pressed the broil button. After around 5 min I came back and started crying inside lol.

Dude it's like 250 degrees for 5-10 minutes or something. Is your oven off on its temperature readings? Weird how they both melted almost exactly the same though. I guess you can always try the plexiglass custom ones or buy some ebay halos and swap the lenses. If the insides aren't destroyed that is...

Edit...

Hhahaha that's too funny/terrible. Just saw your post, third pages don't exist in my book I guess

Wahahahahaha! Is it wrong that I'm laughing?? That was funny as hell... Sorry... I usually turn it up to 300° bake for even 5 mins and this has never happened to me... Lol

Well I've done it before but I used the bake button the broil button literally had fire in the oven instead of the heat so that's why it melted.

For a second I thought that was a giant blob of compound on the headlights. They don't look so good.

I just took mine apart two weeks ago to paint the housings. I was really worried my headlights would melt but it came out alright.

Yeah it looked like a massive blob of Meguairs Ultimate Compound/Polish.

I'm going to do my LS430's headlights soon and I'm hoping they don't melt. Brand new headlights are so expensive.

You should be good as long as you bake it in the 200 to 300 range for 5 min tops.

Alright so I couldn't go to school with Lexi looking like that so early next morning I drove her to our closest pick an pull to take her shopping. After the hour drive I arrives and found her a bargain. Bought her some some dusty headlights and rear seats that are in great condition. Wanted to take the carpet too which was still soft and clean but couldn't get the bolts because I couldn't move the seats. Any ideas? All of these cist a whopping 100 bucks. Here are some pics after I cleaned them up.

Nice score for $100. To get the seats out, you need to pry the four plastic covers off the foot at each corner, then undo the five 14mm bolts. Tip the seat back and unplug the connector in the center, and out they come.

The first time I removed the plastic covers with the recommended screwdriver method, it was incredibly difficult. The next time, I made things much easier by prying the side clips off with a paint can opener while lifting at the end with a screwdriver. If you do it like the manual says with just a screwdriver, the side clips will hold on with their final dying breath and you'll just bend the cover into a pretzel.

Ooh, yeah, that'll be tough. I'm guessing you'll need to either snake a wrench in there or try applying power directly to the motor (if you can unplug it without being able to the seat!) to see if it'll work on its own still.
