Default passenger door hinge

I just had my car painted and it looks soo dope. I painted it jaguar black with silver pearl. The only problem is when we took off the doors and put them back on. After we got the doors back on I went home and was sitting down next to my car smiling to myself when i noticed it. The passebgr door had rubbed against the edge of the fender scraping a thin strip of paint off. I read my lexus manuals and i tried to loosen the bolts on the hinge to adjust my door but i havent been able to move it very far. The door still comes very very close to my fender. Within millimeters id say. Anybody have any suggestions. Oh yeah i tried loosening the bolts on both the body and door side of the hinge in an attempt to move the door.

Thanks

beyond that excellent article, lexus did a tech bulletin on the earlier door hinges making a popping noise, but im not sure whether or not they finalized the recall, it was on the table last i checked. which has been a while.

WD-40 will make it worse.

Buy new hinges if you want to not cringe everytime you open your door. One stuck hinge = $500 in body work.

I don't think that includes a repaint of the fender and the door if you get it stuck.
