SC430-my dads
1998 Jetta MKIII- twin bros (its a pretty cool car, droped, and clean... not fast, but very euro!)

yeah, well... the 'rents gave us the cars... and when your in college you will take what you can. he likes his euro scene... I got the lex cuz of good grades and stuff. my dad just loved the car so much and couldn't bring himself to sell it and buy my something similar, so I got lucky! anyways, i think the euro car scene is pretty cool. speed isn't everything, style and handling are important too.

cool, I find my self visiting the MKIII golf/jetta forums on VWvortex every now and then... kinda cool what they do to their cars. They realize they aren't fast, and go for style, unlike some guys with hondas, lol, jk... My bro actually has some friends that have turbo'd their 2.slows and have gotten some really respectable 1/4 mile times for their cars. I like the jdm scene, but I think the euro scene is cool too!

I envy VW aftermarket! You could seriously build thousands of unique versions of the same car with the different aftermarket. I have a few friends with VR6 Jettas so I've seen some of the things they can do to them. They are actually mostly just dressed up nicely, but still pretty damn quick. I raced a turbo Jetta dressed similarly to an RS6 on my way back from LA and it was indeed a bad *** car: speed, style, and sound! These are all of course new Jettas (~2001). Old VWs are rattly, loud, and very rough. I used to carpool with some VW-crazed colleagues and had to ride around in their early 90's rattle boxes. The Corrado was the worst! The start-up sounded like it was pleeding for a quick death.
