Purchased my 1992 garnet pearl sc400 in late 1991. Dealer said it was their first one.
23 plus years and 310k miles later, it is still my baby and daily driver.
I would be comfortable going on a long trip in it.
Heading toward retirement, I still love this car. It will probably outlast me.
I put the 5 zigen mufflers on it: grandsons think that is so neat.

Some good stories in here. I've been an SC owner now for 5+ year but I've owned 3 separate cars. Planned to keep all of them forever but some unfortunate events prevent that from happening. Going on 2 years with my current SC but we'll see how long this relationship lasts.

We bought my garnet red SC4 new, off the showroom floor in 92 or 93. I was 22-23 at the time(well it was really my fathers) but I told him to buy that car, he was clueless driving a big s class benz. we picked it out and he did purchase.. love it, but it just sits in the garage.. now I'm selling my father hasn't driven it in years, probably doesn't even remember it

sc430 10 and counting
Bought 2002 champagne SC430 for wife's special birthday.
Summer driver only in Ontario Canada.
Hates snow, especially with those run flats.
After $5500 on timing belts, shocks, and ball joints, expect to keep until son's retirement.
