Default Completely Red Taillights

I am wondering if any members have completely red taillights? I was wondering where I could either purchase it or if I could do it myself.

you would have to paint them. VeilsideGS3 has a set of stock 92-94 for $100 plus shipping if you don't want to mess with yours. All you need to get is transparent candy apple red like the paints they use for the RC cars. Then airbrush it on. If you don't have the tools, just get the spray on ones but they won't look as nice as airbrush.

sorry I don't. He empties it a little every now and then, just keep trying. $100 is a heck of a deal, I think he is including the wire harness.

The next thing you should do it get some red bulbs. Then people wont be able to see any orange. I have the red bulbs and i havent painted my taillights and it still shines through red at night. During the day it is red/orange. But you can hit up your local import shop and they should have the bulbs. I paid 10$ each for mine. and youll need 6 of them. Well it should look good with all red, i plan to do that when its warn enough to bring out the lexus. well good luck!

I have painted tails. There is a special paint that you use - metal tint or something. It matched perfectly and came out great. The light shines through perfectly.
I'd rather have my tails than 97+ tails.

The Lexus I was going to buy before this had his done... just spray light even coats, I might just pay the body shop to do mine, that way if they screw up then its on their hands. Looks really good actually, one day I will clear my side markers and spray the rears red. GL post pics if you get a chance to.

Not totally clear but you can buy the 95-96 can clear the bottom yourself, you will still have the red on the top, I dunno why you would want it completely clear though.

I currently have the 92-96 taillights on my car. I think I would rather have it done by a body shop rather than myself and risk making a mistake. Would they need to take the taillights off? or would they just paint them while they are on the car? Thanks

I think he is looking for painted 92-94 lights. I haven't seen any, maybe ask someone in the photoshop forums to do it for you. They are really nice and really good.

Well I got bored and I wanted to see how all red would look too so I did it myself.

Ok forgot to mention this was Fastfwd's car. I hope you dont mind. I thought this was the best overall picture and car for this. Its a very nice color and shiny as hell. if you mind let me know I'll take it down.
