Anyone have 18x9's with a 35 offset at stock ride height??
Can't seem to find any previews of this set up. Just wondering how long im gonna last with this set up before i have to pull the trigger on some coil overs
My SC was at stock height for a while back when I had a set of 18x9 +37 SSR Professors and it looked terrible. The wheels sat flush but the front fender gap looked really bad.
You dont necessarily need coilovers.....a 1-1.5 inch drop on lowering springs will make it look better
Wouldnt it be smarter for me to do coil overs on a car that is 22yrs old with 104k miles on it? I would like to do just springs but my with my luck, id do springs then have to replace shocks and struts 5,000 miles down the road

I would recommend getting coilovers. My car was around the same mileage when I bought my first set of coilovers. It's nice being able to adjust the height of the car.

While coilovers will be the prime suggestion, most aftermarket spring suppliers/manufacturers recommend replacing the stock shocks with better aftermarket ones before installing springs.

Hi, I hope this pictures help, they are 18x9.5 in the back and 18.8 front they are 38 or 36 offset it was a weird offset.... old pictures with bad cam but trying to help out http://imgur.com/a/3TEm3
After CatManD3W's pic, I was tempted to ask, but Luxor's pic confirms it... A big part of the odd look at stock height is the black rims. I think it overemphasizes the void. It appears perfectly normal with chrome. At least at that angle.
I had 9.5 +35 all around, stock height, looked stupid... Then the after picture is Supra Eibach springs and Bilstein struts. I recommend coilovers so you wont have to deal with the infamous uneven drop in the front and can go whatever height you want..
