Need a landing hand
This might be a funny thread but i think you can gain allot of educational points here. I need to replace my whole interior, from tan to black. EVERYTHING, i am looking for somoen in NY with experience or no experience to help me out, i believe i can do it myself but im sure others always wanted to rip apart an SC 400 and put it back together, im preety much asking for a landing hand, i mean honestly im not looking to pay anyone this is actually beneficial for both your lexus and your educational skill. So if anyone in NY is looking to complete a project with me and make a good friend this will be for you. im not looking for this to be a one day thing i want to do it in parts that again all depends on how many hands i have helping me out. So far its just me myself and Irene, my gf, but i think shell be more of a nuisance then a helper. but who knows with the right tools and hands it can be done in 6 hours, at least thats waht a thief told me lol j/k thanks guys for all your replies im located in flushing.

Hey DaizenLex why don't you just paint your interior with SEM paint , that's what I was told b/c I think I'll change mine from light green to black this summer. I know it's a Lexus not a Honda but why pay for the whole interior if you can get paint I think it's called "dye" i. Hmmm.
First you have to clean it with this precleaner that cleans it and softens the material and then you use spray dye.I'm going to do the whole interior and seats too.

i've heard that dye or spray on stuff dont really work all that great. it makes your leather look and feel like cheap stuff. but please post updates on how you did all your re-coloring cuz i am interested in doing the same. so far i have yet to figure out how to mold the fabric to the dash board so i'm holding back on doing my color change. but as for the carpeting goes, go buy some carpet dye, thats the best and cheapest way to do that. haha.....saw it on a car show on tv. it's pretty cheap and looks really good.....thats if ur doing black. ;] but yeah.....post updates and steps please. thanks and good luck.
