Default Momo Steering Wheel

The stock steering wheel in my 92 SC300 is getting pretty nasty and i would like to replace it. I really like the momo millenium wheel because it looks alot like the trd tri-spoke wheel, but costs alot less. Do they offer a adapter kit for the SC? Would i be able to retain my cruise control buttons? Would it work with the electric telescoping wheel? Thanks alot, here is a pic of the wheel..

bmsport,

Try searching for TRD wheel. It is a better fit, and matches the style.

And it should have the airbag.

I'd love to be able to afford the trd wheel, but being that this wheel is $250 makes it obtainable. I've searched the net looking for a SC adapter and came up with nothing. Do you think that the supra adapter might work? They do make those. Any info helps, i will post pics if i can make it work, along with instructions on how i did it.

k this is sad; a guy comes on here asking questions about a steering wheel fitting and wanting to get it because its very affordable...

then some others harp in that he should buy the rip-off $800 TRD wheel

guys if you don't have an answer to his question, don't answer... k? he specifically SAID he didn't want the TRD wheel...

as for the Millenium, i looked at putting one in my 300zx at one point... i think you can get a hub adapter for the SC

That Momo wheel looks great, and I know this isn't a Datsun forum, but that wheel would look great on my 77 280z.

Momo does not make a hub. i've been trying to figure out if the supra hub would work but no one seems to know.

I went with the Momo Race and used the Supra mkiv hub, works fine. Car feels faster after dropping the 80lb steering wheel, j/k.

is it legal to have a MOMO steering wheel like that if your car came with an air bag or will you get a fix it ticket for the cops if they stop you?

I dont think the cops are too worried about that...Because they do not care! I bet you they wont even notice that it was a steering wheel w/o an airbag...This should be your least of concerns...

This is Florida, no one cares about anything. Well, except for street racing, if you get caught doing that, you get the electric chair.
