mod costs
Just added it up. Thought for sure I was over 10K. Came to $9040. I must be forgetting something. Well, it's way over 10K when you add the maintenance stuff I did that wasn't necessary. Just remembered, I'm about to get a money order for another mod. WIll reveal later.

Had the car for just 5 months and I shattered the 10k mark by month 2.
Plus I did all the labor. From the seats to the paintjob/kit. So we're talking just parts prices.
Still have invested less than a new Civic EX so I feel NO REMORSE.
Bring on the mods!

Do new tires and stock brake pads count, even though they are maintainance?
If not, I am in:
chrome wheels: $600
repaint bumper: $200
Emblems/tips: $180
Repair ding: $600
paintless dent removal: $185
Valentine 1 + hardwire: $400+40
Car washing accesories: 200 est.
Overall Im in less than 3K without maintainance, and over 3 K with maintainance.

Yeah I did a total of all my money spent so far and it made me cringe to think I spent so much in just under 6 months (only owned the car since January) All in total I have just a bit over $10000 and the sad thing is you can't really tell. (maybe since half of it is sitting in my house still) still waiting to put the aero and paint on. Haven't even touched the engine except for a new air cleaner/oil changes/timing belt/accessory belt.
some of the items were:
6pt rollbar
set of 9J/10J 18" work wheels
Vertex type Full aero
Driver & Pass. bride recliner seats
80mm exhaust from turbine back
carbon hood
Luckily the car was only $1900 with 5speed swap completed, coilovers, LSD, and boost controller.
Didn't realize how expensive it was for SC's in the US. Luckily I was able to pick up most of my stuff used to help keep the price down and thanks to Yahoo Auction Japan made things a lot easier to find what I was needing.
