As I've expressed before, I hate Chicago. Highest taxes in the nation, very little jobs which means less employed clients for my business, horrible roads, horrible winters, snow & salt, extra corrupt politicians running the city, ghetto ***, ignorant fools.
I cannot wait to relocate to the suburbs of Atlanta!
The police had this putty looking van pulled over on 67th street. I swerved around slowly to avoid the cop and van. Further up 67th street, the van flies past me, twisting my mirror forward. I swerve into the opposing traffic lane to get out of the police trucks way. 10 seconds went by before police where swarming. He crashed, I pulled into a plaza and inspected my car. Could have been way worse.
Had my fiancé and friend in the car. I just hate having my very rare car in this city. But, it was being sold here, so what can I say? So glad my baby is ok.
Damn, that sucks - you just got it too! But you're right, coulda been way worse. That damage is nothing. And glad everyones ok!
I was upset until my lady pointed out how the mirror was twisted. I then hoped that was all he hit. Body work of any kind isn't cheap. Lives are priceless though.
Very glad to hear you weren't hurt. I can't tell much from your picture other than that your mirror is toast but that will not be hard to replace. Bodywork on the other hand...
It's not a pretty picture you paint of Chicago. I know several friends there and it's been on my list of places to visit. Atlanta is a big change but do beware of the Beltway once you move-- it can be quite insane to drive, although still nothing like Miami.
there are plenty of SC's in georgia. i hang out with all of them on the regular.
Yeah, it is minor. All my minor paint problems will buff out. Car still has good clear coat still. Only issue body wise is the small ding/gash on my passenger quarter. Shouldn't be more than $500 to fix and repaint. I already know I will be spending tons of cash on this baby. An expense of love, like a child lol.
And Chicago is fine to visit. I'm from Queens Ny, born and raised. Came to Chicago in 2007. Worst move ever. But met my woman here, started my business here, so I am grateful for those things. And lets not forget, SC40O was bought in the hood lol.
Thanks everyone. Could have been a very bad accident.
