Default 97 front end swap to a pre 97

Bought a 2nd 97 soarer and was wondering has anyone ever fitted pre 97 front like a 94 with lower lip to a 97? what type of fitment issues would there be?

i don't think there are any. i just pulled a 97 front bumper off yesterday, iirc the only issue might be the styrofoam in the bumper. might have to change connectors for 94-96 fogs, and lots of those stupid plastic screws/bolts/clips...hate em.

It is all bolt on . You should not have any fitment issues.

Thats not common, props for going the other way around, its usually pre 97 adding the 97+ onto their SC's.

97 Bumpers are pretty damn similar to the Pre's. The only concerns are that the foglights don't have the same connectors, and the Underbody Covers and Fender Liners may not have holes in the same place as the ones that came with the Pre. I'm sure you can swap the lining onto the 97 though, but i'd check for similarities first before having to labor over nothing. Alternatively you could just remove all the lining, but I can't say for certain that'll look good. Good luck.
