Default projector lense is loose?

The low beam socket has a little play and you can see the "globe" inside the headlight wiggle when I move it by hand.. I don't notice it when driving but it's probably annoying to others.

The other side is fine, feels like a stiff rubber is holding the lense, The bad side has play.

Does anyone know how to fix? There is a big rubber ring 81518B on the back that says "open" with an arrow it is on full clockwise already.

The alignment screw vertical and horizontal works so I don't think anything popped loose inside.

It I hold the long up/down adjust screw tight by hand then the play at the socket almost goes away.

Thanks

The projector is held by 2 long bolts. The same bolts you use to adjust it's focus. If you have/had condensation in it, those bolts easily rust out and eventually, nothing is keeping the projector in place. Just buy a used headlight in better condition, or do a retrofit on both if you want better projectors.
