Trunk lock key
Anyone with an answer to the following?
My master key remote will not open the trunk lock when inserted in the lock.
About my car: Trunk lock switch below the steering wheel is the only way to open the trunk.
Master key remote will not unlock the trunk when the trunk open button is pressed.
Master key will lock/unlock both the valet locks inside the cabin.
Master key opens and closes the drivers side door lock remotely but not the passenger side.
Master key opens both the drivers and the passenger's door lock when inserted in the lock.
My first thought is the trunk lock was changed out by a previous owner, but DK for sure.
Any ideas how to get this working again?

Somewhat related.
My trunk lock is actually gone, nice hole there instead. So, I have to source a trunk lock, but I am curious if I have to do anything to the new lock in order to get the remote to work. I'm guessing there is an ecu somewhere to control this and not the trunk lock itself, right?
