Last night it stormed Herr in Dallas and I for caught in it . I swear I should have stood outside the car because i was getting drenched! Water was dropping from around the rear view mirror and up front where the headliner begins.. l also noticed small drops in my other sc when it goes through the automatic car wash drip in the same spot but not as much

The rubber moulding around the moonroof glass is probably so brittle because of age, that is why it is not sealing properly and water gets in, Then the drain hoses on the four corners of your moon/sun roof are clogged so water that gets in through the moonroof is not drained properly.

Open the moonroof, the two front corner hole that leads to the drain hoses , you will see them and might be able to insert a small flexible wire to free any debris. It might be hard cause at a certain point the angle will make it hard for the wire to go in.
Let's say you are successful with those,.. pour a glass of water on those holes slowly and see if water is going down near the side / front fender. That means the hoses are free from debris.
The two back holes might be harder with just the moon roof opened.
If all else fail, you might have to remove head liner to have complete access on those 4 corner holes and hoses of the moonroof.

Take a can of PB Blaster with a little red stick from like a WD-40 can, and shoot it down all 4 holes until it freely flows out all the drainage pipes onto the ground.
Same problem over here, this is how I resolved it. 5$ fix and it's worked for 2 years. I also have a 92 with the factory moon roof seal. No issues.

How did you get to the rear holes? I'm not straight on how to access them.

I pull the end out from where the hose drains (under the car), blow compressed air through the drain line, and replace the drain hose end to it's original location.
Next I use compressed air to blow any debris out of the sunroof cavity in the roof.
BTW, compressed air means having a shop air compressor, not computer style canned air.
Good luck
