ok my car is sitting in my driveway right now i have 451.1 miles to a full tank of gas...on the trip meter...im going to break my old record..and im not even at the point where the needle covers the E....at worst it will be 453 cause the gas stations are about 2 miles away from the house....my orange light didint even come on and stay till i was at 418 miles..so another 40 would but me at about 460 besting my record by about 5 miles....im tellling you there is some thing wrong the car cause the mileage keeps getting better...or lexus has the most fuel efficent computer system ever built...

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but i wanted to put my final posts on here...i maxed my gas mileage with A/C on at 449.7 miles for a full tank fill...i had to wait until it was hot enough here in michigan to use it..lol...this was done during normal driving conditions...a 50/50 mix of freeway and side streets..the max mileage that was able to achieve without A/C was 490 miles...using the same mix but about 60/40 freeway to streets...i just wanted to let everyone know...we can now all return to out daily lives.

oh one more thing sorry....i ran the tank to empty when i maxed out with the 449.7...had to pull to the side of the road and put a few dollars worth in it...the 490 with no A/C i just got scared and went to fill up..my light didnt even come on till i was at about 450 miles...and i can generally go about 40 miles with it on.. so at 490 i found a station...i filled up with about 20.1 gallons of gas.

The best mpg I've ever gotten in my car is 25.5. Using that number, I could go 500 miles and still have a gallon left. Once I figured the mpg and it said 32, I assumed the particular pump handle I was using maybe didn't let me put as much gas in as the one I had used on the previous tank, because that's an absurd amount of mpg for a v8 coupe (unless it's a vette 6sp).

Well whos riding with the AC on or off? with the AC on during hot *** summers in Sac, I get about 280 to 300 miles per tank. With the AC off I can easily get 340 to 350 miles per full tank.

i see that the both of you are in hot states....so you will have the A/C on most of the time..here in michigan the cold will kill you and the heat will too...so during different seasons we get different results..
