Talking look at what I did today... (mesh grill)

alright, I had some freetime today, so I made a visit to a local hardware store, picked up some supplies... then built this. Im not sure if Im sold on it. but it is different, and it looks pretty clean. I don't think these pics do justice, but I will let you decide that on your own-

thats one clean sc.

does your 96 sc go beep beep when you hit the alarm on and off/??? i know it started in 96 but was wondering if they sound changed from 96 through 99. i love the way the 99 sounds

haha, Im surpirised by the distance my car will make the beeping sound. I can be walking through a parking lot where I lost my car and hit the button and follow the sound!

Looks good. Was it hard to attach it underneath the grill? What tools did you use? I think I would give it a try in a type of mesh with a little bigger openings if you know what i mean. See pic below from bananags . I think this would look good on a clean SC.

God, what a wax job! wish mine was that clear. excellent job on the mesh...............CHROME IT! (if you have chrome wheels).

lol, it was recently waxed, but what a difference distance makes! lol... my hood looks like crap up close... some places are faded - but I still love the car!

the mesh looks pretty cool, but it's a little uneven around the edges - I'm sure it was tough to bend the edges back evenly on that mesh - maybe a black trim piece around the edge would blend it better. Maybe you can find some flexible narrow black trim that would even out the edges - it would be especially cool if the trim was all one piece, with just one seam in the center, at the top where you wouldn't see it when looking down at the nose - just thinkin' out loud here
