Default Help! Anyone with Weapon - R Intake

I have the intake sitting in the trunk of my car. I am totally clueless on how this fits on my car. I have a polished tube with 3 small tubes(one larger and 2 smaller) branching off of it. I know that part attaches to the engine. I've only seen where the larger tube connects. Where do the 2 smaller tubes connect?

Thank you in advance.

sorry to hear that you got that intake.. that brand is very nasty.. plus a stock intake air box with a K&N drop in filter works just as good.. Some aftermarket intake loses performance on the car..

every intake is different..every car is different...You'll never know unless you put it through the dyno..If one person experience a lost of power from an aftermarket intake doesn't mean everyone does..

The picture that was linked above looks nothing like the intake I described. I did use the search. Here is what the tube I got looks like.

Check out the Australian SC owner's site;they have a nice detail on how to tweak your stock airbox for good power.

Try here for the BFI mod for the stock airbox...

I even get my own lil' saying about the BFI when I first fitted it!

BFI Information

Alternatively try this link... http://www.planetsoarer.com/#BFI

Oh, yeah as for your intake. I'm not sure, but I'll call their customer support number. Good luck...

Those "little tubes" sticking out are where your breather hoses attach too. Look at your factory intake pipe and you'll see rubber hoses attached to that, just attach those the same way to the new one. If that doesn't work, get your money back and buy an Injen product instead.

Just curious. What exactly makes Injen = good?

Default Injen is good because

The filter is K&N or equivalent.
WR is not

The piping is all polished metal and high quality
WR is not

The sound is incredible and just the build quality of the pice is nice. It's all the way up to the engine.
WR is only the mid piping.

INJEN is a more widely reputable company
WR is not.

That's why INJEN is good.

Weapon-R is a poor quality company, just like a few of these: APC, Matrix, Kartboy, etc. aka rice boy products.
any product they sell at pepboyz and autozone for car modification are very crappy.
good intake: Injen, AEM, ARC, Apexi, etc.

its like compairing a Sony tv to a APEX tv hah.
