Question regarding body for snowy Midwest SC drivers
How well do the ealier SC's hold up the the snow as far as the body? I know 90's Lexus paint wasn't the best. I'm considering buying a clean SC but I have to daily it this winter. Let me know. Thanks!

What do you mean by body?
Outside panels? Subframes? All the **** underneath the car?
If it's just hte outside, that's not going to rust under notmal circumstances (no ****ty repaints, etc.), all the **** underneath expect it to already be badly rusted (if it's a midwest car) or to rust after several seasons of use on these roads. Need a second car if you want to keep your shet clean.

I won't be driving my sc in the snow unless I have a lsd, snow tires, and a 150 lbs weight in the trunk....even then I'll take the suv.
I tend to do a good undercarriage wash n scrub every 6mo on the families cars, colorado uses cloride and it does bring the pain. A good wash does help to mitigate the damage. For the sc, I don't know, but she'll get the same treatment...just less snow this season.

Curious as to why you say that. Paint finish on my 1992 Lexus SC300 is still beautiful after 22 years. Its held up better than my 1991 or 1995 Cadillacs.
