Question Help - '92 SC400

I am having electrical problems with my '92 SC400. I was wondering if I was the only lucky one. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. My problem started with the factory alarm going off when I opened the door with the key (factory) and not teh remote. Then the problem progressed to the alarm going off for no reason (in my garage). This past weekend I noticed when I shut the engine off and pull the key out of the ignition, the steering whell did nto not automatically move up. Not only does my steering wheel go up but the lights on the dash and climate control stay on after the key has been removed from teh ignition. Oh byt he way, the wipers have power as well. Can anyone help and give me some ideas.

sounds like it's all in the ignition switch.

if the switch doesnt turn off all the way the factory alarm wont activate correctly, the steering wheel wont raise like it should, and the key not going all the way off ,but almost going all the way off will cause it to act up as the contacts shift at night triggering the alarm to go off.

I say get a new ignition switch. Just my two cents worth there.
