Hey guys just wanted to say hey and thanks for such a great forum. I've been reading this forums for at least 6 months now lurking in the dark and hearing what people have to say about the SC's and I finally bit the bullet and purchased one about a month ago. Have been in car heaven ever since I haven't had a chance to do any mods yet other than tinting the windows but I have big dreams for it in the near future. Unfortunately I'm fresh out of college and well big dreams don't go well w/o big wallets but after hearing people pushing 300k miles on an SC, I have high hopes for keeping it around for a looong time to come.

On a random side note, I've posted a ? in the electronics forum but have gotten no help from there so maybe I could pick yall's brains. Does anyone know the watts that the stock sub amp puts out? I have the premium sound system and I purchased a JL 10IB4 but it sounds like crap and my guess is it isn't getting the juice it needs. I've searched the threads to try and find this info but alas no luck (I know certain people on here are search ****'s so I wanted to say I've at least tried). Thanks for your help guys and I hope to see some CL members down around VA Beach area.

p.s. Oh and cuz I'm sure someone will ask, it's a 97 SC400 with 69k miles that I paid 18 for. I can post some pics if someone points in the direction of how to do it.

hello, and welcome to CL as for your question, theres an audio forum which is probably the best place to ask that question. i noticed you're located in VA - where at and what college? im in richmond.

Thanks for the welcome. Yea I've already posted in the audio forum but haven't heard anything so I thought I'd try my luck in here as well. I graduated from Radford University last May and live down in Hampton now. I got some friends that go to VCU still so I still get out that way every now and then when 64 doesn't get all clogged up, god I hate construction down here, it's ridiculous.
