Default rear brake lights won't shut off.

Re: '93 sc300, 5-speed

Hello, need help because my rear brake lights won't shut off.
Is there a brake switch somewhere on the pedal that I should look for? I did'nt notice any broken pieces on the floor mat.
I appreciate any help.

Yea if u look up at it, it's a purple (i think) switch. You need a 12 or 14mm wrench to loosen the nut and unscrew the switch itself. It'll make sense once you see it. I had to do the same recently

Thumbs up Brake light issue resolved

Thank you for the reply Hsokhi. After searching the forum I went on Youtube and watched a few videos. Seems to be a standard problem with all makes and model cars.
I used some double sided 3m tape until the plastic piece comes in. The brake pedal switch if fine but the plastic grommet broke apart. It took a few minutes to put the tape in place and the brake light is now off and no more dead battery.
